With their alliance partners, Qantas can offer an unrivalled choice of worldwide stopovers covering 140 destinations in 37 countries. Via America stopovers are possible on Direct Flights stopping at Hawaii, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.

If travelling to New Zealand with Air New Zealand, there are alternative route options via Hong Kong and Los Angeles. Both can be combined into a return ticket enabling you to book a "round-the-world" ticket. Asian stopover options include Shanghai and Tokyo as well as Hong Kong.
